Orchestra Miami will perform in its "Concerts for Kids"
Orchesta Miami brings the magic of music to kids, through the art of old-fashioned story telling. Through the classic tales of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Little Red Riding Hood, kids will experience first-hand the fun and music and reading. Perfomed by a small chamber ensemble of sololists from Orchestra Miami and a guest narrator, kids will be invited to plpay along and interact with the musicians as the tales unfold.

Orchestra Miami and the Chopin Foundation presents Ning Ann as piano solosist with the orchestra. The event will be held on May 15, 2009 at the Dade County Auditorium. Mr. Ann is an award winning musician. Mr. Ann will perform the popular and exciting Tchailovsky Piano Concerto N. 1, to complement OM's performance of Brahms Symphony N. 1 in c minor, Opus 68.
Mr. Ann made his debut with the Cleveland Orchestra at the age of 16, and was the first winner of the 2006 Tivoli Internatinal Piano Competition, the 2003 Kapell Piano Competition and the 200 American Chopin Piano Competition.
Orchestra Miami presents Geoffrey Loff at the Lincoln Theater on Miami Beach. The event will be held on June 13, 2009. Mr. Loff will join the orchestra in performing Mozart's beautiful Piano Concert N. 10 in F Major, K.459
A Florida native, Mr. Loff was one of the youngest students to be admitted to the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. He will be performing his own cadenzas to all to the excitement on the occasion of his debut.
